FAQ For Photo SessionsWhat to expect at the photo session? Photo sessions are either a half hour, or one hour in length. Sessions include a disc with the digitally edited photos. The session is meant to be relaxed and fun! If your session involves a little one, please bring along items that may help them to co-operate and feel comfortable (special blankie, toy, snacks, treats, etc.).What should we wear? It is suggested that the entire group wears clothing that colour coordinates to create a more visually appealing look to the photo. Feel free to bring multiple outfits. You may want to capture some casual-wear poses, and some more formal-wear poses. Whatever you decide on will work great!How long does it take for the session disc to be ready? Discs can take anywhere from 1-6 weeks depending on various factors - type and length of session, time of year, how busy Jason Kelly Photography is with photo sessions. You will be notified as soon as your session disc is ready for pickup. FAQ For Newborn SessionsWhen should we contact you for a newborn photo session? I always recommend that you contact me ahead of time just to let me know that you are expecting and that you will be interested in a newborn session. I then recommend that as soon as baby arrives, you get in touch to actually book the session. Newborn photos are best done within the first two weeks of life, so the timing is very important. However, we can still make it work if your newborn is over 2 weeks of age. For newborn photo sessions, sleepy babies are best to work with, so please try to keep an eye on your baby's wake/sleep schedule so that we can schedule the session accordingly. How should I prep my baby for a newborn photo session?Please try to ensure you have booked the newborn session at a time where your little one is normally sleeping. Also a baby who has a fully belly tends to work best, so please ensure that you feed baby prior to arriving for your session, or please arrive a few minutes early so that you can pre-feed baby. If your baby uses a pacifier, please bring one along for soothing purposes. If you have any outfits, knitted items, special keepsakes, blankets or other props you want to incorporate into the session, please feel free to bring them.
